FAQ About Sonsray EDGE

What equipment qualifies for the Sonsray Edge Program?

Sonsray Edge applies to all new Hitachi, Case IH, Case CE, and Kubota equipment sold by Sonsray Machinery that is still covered under the manufacturer’s base warranty. This includes both construction and agriculture equipment categories. Equipment purchased outside of Sonsray or not backed by the base warranty is not eligible.

How does the 4-Hour Repair Response work?

If you submit a service request during regular business hours, a Sonsray service rep will contact you within 4 business hours to confirm the request and begin scheduling a technician. Requests submitted after hours will be responded to starting at 7:00 AM the next business day. This applies to all eligible repair needs under the program.

What if the repair takes longer than 4 business days?

If a repair is expected to take longer than 4 business days due to parts availability or complexity, Sonsray will offer a comparable loaner machine at no charge, subject to availability. The loaner is provided under a short-term agreement and must be returned in the same condition, allowing for normal wear and tear. Customers are responsible for fuel and transportation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Do I have to pay for technician travel?

No, as long as your equipment is located within 100 miles of a Sonsray Machinery location, travel time for warrantable field repairs is covered at no charge. If your site is outside this radius, additional charges may apply or require pre-approval.

What isn’t covered by the Sonsray Edge Program?

The program does not cover non-warrantable repairs, damage due to misuse or unauthorized modifications, after-hours emergency service, or equipment not sold by Sonsray. It also excludes service delays caused by the customer (e.g., declining parts installation) and any non-OEM attachments or brands outside of Hitachi, Case, and Kubota.
